Application of new/upcoming drone technology can be very vital and important in managing the security of any campus or building. With the help of drones, having cameras as per the site conditions can heavily reduce the deployment of both cameras and people on the field.
Following are the application of the drones:
- Security Tour Management – Drone with an attached camera can fly on the pre-defined area. The attached camera view will be displayed or recorded in Security Control Room.
- In the case of alarm from PIDS & Access Control or CCTV Camera, the drone can automatically fly on the point of alarm and hover on the top. And the camera view of the drone can be viewed in Security Control Room. The drone can be controlled and taken to different areas or follow an intruder as required.
- Monitoring Mode – In case, security team requires to view a particular situation or area, the drone can fly to the area of alarm and can capture the images and videos, capable of traveling varying heights and distances.
